Descent from the heavens into a world of dense matter
A momentary visit in a corner of this Cosmos of mine
In company of the stars, the loneliness of the traveller
As nature grows darker but life encounters a way to thrive
From the abundance of infinity into a state of near oblivion
The illusion of separation persists as the lifeforce feels inaccessible
A collective hallucination, deceiving perception, hindered joy
Misfit in society, breeding anxiety, is madness my only ally?
Worn out from battle, deeply rattled, a prison without walls
To be a lighthouse so the sleepwalkers cannot further fall

The keepers of the keys to this cage gather in defiance
Satan himself shares a scornful laughter - the prison of matter
Even though we’re given the script of this insane play
Will we ever be able to escape? Though our powers hold sway
The deception runs deep but we sculpt our own way
As above, so below - for these experiences were made for the bold
